Introduction
My sister Ruth Di Giacomo and her daughters Jessica and Rebecca (age 14) flew to Denver for a visit on January 18, picked me up, and off we went to Vail to visit Ruth's friend Maryann Z, who is living and working at in Vail, Colorado, where her son Zack, age 14, is based, training with his ski team. Zack was in Aspen for the X Games that weekend so after a day of skiing in Vail we visited Aspen and had a rendez-vous with Zack. Our cousins Ann Best and daughter Christina, and Gary Krotchko, wife Pam and children Erica and Michael, met up with us that Saturday night for a good long soak in Glenwood Springs. We headed back the next day to Denver and Centenniel, where we caught up with Joe and Aunt Helga, who turned 85 on January 25! Here are some pix from our little reunion of friends and family in Colorado.
